Real OpenCart 3.x roots
OC-CLI is a Symfony Console CLI for OpenCart maintained by Custom Services Limited. The current repository ships commands for database maintenance, extension and modification workflows, cache maintenance, catalog management, order inspection and status updates, plus admin-user management.
The project is intentionally explicit about capability boundaries. DB-native commands can operate with direct database credentials. Runtime-backed commands bootstrap real OpenCart models, so they are documented as OpenCart 3.x-only in the current stabilization pass.
The project separates DB-native commands from runtime-backed commands so teams know exactly when they need live OpenCart bootstrap behavior.
The command set is tailored to real OpenCart tasks: backups, OCMOD import, catalog edits, order workflows, and admin-user management.
The repo documents unsupported schema or version combinations as explicit failures instead of silently guessing or masking incompatibilities.
Custom Services Limited builds developer tooling and operational workflows for OpenCart teams. OC-CLI reflects that approach: practical commands, explicit capability boundaries, and documentation that tracks the actual repository instead of aspirational copy.
The project is open source and the docs are now tied to audited repo behavior. If the command surface changes upstream, the website should change with it instead of drifting into unsupported claims.
